hey hey i juz came back frm the central band concert.
Took cab wif Liang you to camp. Reach ard 1230pm and went up to gather in the Dragon Hall. Ard 1330hrs the coaches arrived and all of us(band B guys) loaded up into one of it. Wait kinda of long for the bus to move..at last we reached the Esplanade at 1515hrs. Went into our offstage room and start slacking there. I took the chance to explore ard the area and in some ways i found that the backstage looks a bit like a hospital...hahaha..went to the basement cafe and found its not open yet :Pp..Our dressing room looks like some make up place wif lots of light bulbs surrounding the mirrors. There also the password lock cupboard thingy. It sorta of let you input the password you want and locked ur stuff in. Kinda of fun. The toliets are super clean.
Ard 1600hrs we had our tuning and slack after that :Pp
1700hrs is out rehearsal. The fatigue pple brought us by some strange pathways up to the 2nd floor where we, the offstage players, were located at. Kinda of confusing; we sort of went up by a cargo lift den pass through the back of the concert stage and den to some veri dark 'tunnel' thingy. Haahaa like a maze really..The rehearsal was short and sweet(after all..is onli 15 odd bars ><||)
Dinner after that. It was marvellous. It was nasir lemak from Adams Road wif a kind of sweet chili sauce. Was really full after the meal.
We dressed up to our No.2 ard 1645hrs den went up to the back of the Concert Stage(gallery i think it was called not sure :Pp) for a whole SAF group photo.
Went up to watch the 1st half of the concert. The 1st piece was impressive. Great opening i would say. 2nd one was the harp concerto. Wow the Harpist was superb man. Lots of flair and grace not to mention she's lovely. Great piece! Appluase to the soloist! Last one b4 the interval was Star Wars Trilogy..Rehearsal was much better den the actual..I guess everyone's tired frm the rehearsal..dunno y though.
During interval Offstage guys went to tune. I was as usual flat ><||. And my tuning slide was all the way in....Den went back to the familar route to the 2nd floor where we will move in to our place. Finally after In the Miller Mood, we move in. The offstage thingy was fine. Everything went smoothly but when after the piece has ended..all of us was juz standing there..like cok..Cpt Tng was looking up at us waiting for us to 'remove ourselves from the area' Diaoz..in the end my side took the 1st step to move away from the seats ><|| a bit of cok up here.
So is over haha fast sia. Guess who i saw or rather he came and attack me 1st...MR LEE TIAN TEE!! wah kaoz..i almost thot who sia..he grown a beard and moustache(what on earth is the spelling ><||)...diaoz!! hahaha wat a change to style man! hehe i was trying to pluck some out and he keep fighting me off..den Chris came along and start trying to pluck too..damn he was fun and realli change his appearence sia haha NICE ONE MR LEE!!! :Pp Went supper wif Huitin, Huiyan and Alex. Took us a long time to decide that we would like to eat Macdonalds....Chatted and tok cok all the while. Discussed abt the concert and Alex and me conclude that the rehearsal was better.
Took cab wif Huiyan home. Her mum's scolding her liaoz. Cab was hard to catch. And finally one came..phew..we were trying to escape midnite charge. So i reach home ard 12am and decide to add this entry :DD
