I thot that the issue of TAB has ended or died down. But I saw a new post abt (or related) this affair on an alumni blog. All those entries I had seen before were negative, I admit even my posts were negative regarding this issue. The one I saw, on the contatry, was good or rather in a supportive manner.
Kudos to the alumni! Of coz you guys had good times together. Who dunch? Afterall you guys have spent almost the whole(or whole) of your secondary school together. I, too, had many memories during my band time in secondary school.
"Put yourself to her shoes" Thats the phrase. If everyone does that, I guess the world would have been much better. Thats a good one. I agree totally. But why not put herself on my shoes? Or yourself on my shoes? Ohh I guess you didnt witness wat happened did you? If you are the one being forced out of the band, wun you feel the same thing?
Why do we set up a alumni band anyway? To haolian? To take control of the school? Because we wanted to feel how we felt when we were in the band. Enjoying playing together again. Laugh together. Smile. Etc. At least some memories were not lost forever.
To all alumnis who went back to the alumni band. Why do we go back even when we are already out of tanglin? Because we juz want to go back? Or we have nothing to do? Or the scenary is nice? The ans is so simple man. We loved the band too.
To those going back to play. Pls continue to go back and helped out in alumni band. Enjoy each other company. Make mistakes together. Make music together too. :D

Have not been updating for a week. Many pardons guys.
Bz week. Been doing AOH rehearsal 5times. Changed some gimmick stuff and added some too. Vetting on Thurs was ok.
My form had not been very well this week. I guess I think and played too much. Gotta slow down. I guess I'll have to let nature takes it course.
Met up with juniors(PR, ZH, CY, PY, etc.) yesterday nite. As usual we tok cok and laughed. The feeling is really nice. I guess I am a groupy kind of person.
Cpt Yusir flown off to UK on Thurs for some music course. Hmm peace and quiet for 2 weeks. MSG Radin goin over to Australia next week. SSG Tham going to take over the role of BSM for 2 months. Anyway I am goin to ORD.
Sight read Mark Tan's march(called Mark Time!) Friday. He was one of the past trombonist of Band B. He composed a march for Band B. I must say the melody is kinda of nice. But a bit difficult for marching playing. I think we are going to play this for Oct. COG. Might be my last COG.

I finally found the 2 books: Deception Point and Digital Fortress. Yummy. Going to enjoy both of them. Going to devour them to the core!
I juz came back from a gathering with my old frenz in Band. Chatted abt old times. Even the ex teacher in charge join us. Tok abt last time band, teachers, outings, Malaysia trips, old alumnis, army, all sort of stuff. Really enjoyabe. Hope to have more meetings like this.
Guess who we saw after we the gathering...MR LEE TIAN TEE..!! Wah kaoz. Came as a surprise for me. Didnt expect to see him. As usual he bully me..grabbed me and squeezed my arms..SUPER PAIN!!! ><||...He say I fat liaoz...haiz..yeh yeh I also noe..
A great evening I gathered. Nice.

After the uneventful encounter at my alumni band, LY and me proceeded down to West Mall. A couple of our frens were having their 18th birthdays. Ate 2 slices of nice, well-deserved (hey after all the shit I gone through juz now I really deserve it hor..><||) chocolate cake. Yummy. Slurp! :Pp
Caught Shi Mian Mai Fu (The House of Flying Daggers), a movie by Zhang Yi Mou. Casted were Andy Lau, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Zhang Ziyi. Frankly speaking, to me is kinda of boring movie. But the fighting scene and CG were great. Hmm thats all :Pp.
It was 1am when the movie ended. LY stayed for a while den left..I and the gals stayed(yeh..outside the entrance of West Mall..) until 3am den went home. Here I am here updating my Blog. Heh heh, am I faithful to Blogging man!

At the mean time, we will not inform you about the practices anymore."
Floods of different emotions (anger, sadness, disbelieve, disappointment) flowed through me. Everything juz suddenly go blank..all I can focus was on the guy sitting infront toking. To put it simply, my batch of frenz and I were sacked from the alumni band. Did I juz say sacked? Yes we were simply, to put it crudely, sacked. From the alumni band. Mustering and pushing my emotions away, I juz smiled when the TIC told me the reasons. And thus I found out my self control was kinda not bad. Absoultely marvellous. Superb. And I was outta of the alumni band juz like that. Pooh! Juz like magic.
Though I might be a lot of things, I do hope the current alumnis will bring the band to greater heights. All the best TAB!!

Had been doing AOH (Army Open House) rehearsal for the week. Mond AOH. Tues AOH. Wed AOH. Thur AOH. Tml AOH. AOH siao.
Today is the 1st vetting by the army coordinator and officers of the band.  Morning ran through the display. Added a couple of gimmicks. Basically it was good.
The vetting was at 3pm.  The sun was shining bright and hot. Water was popular. Only for a minor mistake (the drum major did a mistake), the rest went fairly well. Major Tng and Cpt Yusri were pleased with the performance. We were let to go home at 4pm.
The thing is this. We have been working so hard for this vetting and all we got was an hr earli fall out. The display was good. It feels like we were not being appreicated. And I heard that we will not get any incentive offs for the SAF Day. Haiz..
Next week there will be alot of stuff coming up. Tues we will have COG (change of guard) rehearsal. Wed we will have AOH rehearsal on the actual ground (SAFTI). Thur we will have the AOH Exco Vetting at SAFTI which will end at 930pm. Sat we will have a GOH (guard of honour) parade at MINDEF. Sun we will have COG at the ISTANA.
Busy week I reckon.

11)Continue doing assessment books by candlelight. Huh? You think blackout no need to study ar?
12)Engage in "multi-level" marketing: go from floor to floor selling candles and flashlights to desperate neighbours.
13)Fold sheet of paper into fans and start selling them to the air-con addicts in your estate.
14)Faster eat all the ice cream in your freezer before it melts.
15)Also better faster drink all the beer in your fridge before it gets warm.

Ah yes! Finally my pc is fixed. Okay almost fix. I suspect there is a couple of virus lying dormant somewhere. At least now it is running properly. Haiz I formated my PC. All my mp3 (3gb) were all gone!! ><|| so sad..
Today's COC at TRADOC ( dunno what it means) was short and hot. Yup masterfully, brillant hot. Shrugs..at least it was over.
Going to do Army Open House Display Rehearsal tml morning. Vetting is on Thursday. I guess they will be pushing us hard.

Woah! Attended Saf Central Band Concert by Frank Ticheli yesterdae evening. Enjoyed myself tremendously. I simply love the An American Elegy and Blue Shades. Winston solo (offstage) was marvellous. I was captivated by the cantabile style. The phrasing was smooth flowing accompanied by his deep mellow sound. It was simply great. On the contrast, Sgt Stanley solo on Blue Shade was fast and jazz like. He certainly protrayed the mood of the solo. Juz great! Overall it was a great concert and its FREE :Pp.
Went over(got jiahui janice and yihui) to Bukit Batok Kopitiam (beside Mac) for dinper(dinner and supper ><||). Chatted alot(mostly cok and band), got bullied ><||(most of the time..) and laughed(well..they laughed more..) all over the place. Went back hm by cab..no bus liaoz..$_$..Quite a goot day at least for me :D

SOmething great happen today...I managed to pitch D..high D and play a Dmajor scale(in my key-Bb) 2 octave!! Gasp! Wow 1st time in my life..well the tone isnt that goot but den that can be worked out I hoped..Heard Benny played..super man..super big sound and powerful..high notes free de..(as usual). Super lihai ><||

Didnt went for the credential guards today. Went to RSI and got 3 days excuse Lower Limb. My soles of my feet haf been hurting since Saf Day. So 3 days means I will miss COC parade on Wed too :P.
Cpt Yusri looked disapproving at me in the afternoon..but hell to wif it..pain means pain means cant go down parade lo. Easy.
I was the 1st patient. Went down earli onli got 4-5pple. Surprisingly my No. came 1st. I finished wif the MO at 845am.
I found out the Army Open House on 9th Sept or rather will start.
There be a Quarter Guard again on the 120704 Mond. Hmm I deployed Emile to play, Glen as the reserve and Jumari as the understudy. Wahhah I suddenly feel i haf so much power :Pp..*power hungry devil*..juz kidding nia. :Pp

(mayb is not me..unlikely :Pp) Wah lao 1st time in my entire life I kena say until lidat nia..I didnt do anything ><|| Oh well there's always a 1st time :Pp. Shrugs. Now I am having 2nd(alrite i lied..mayb 5 or 10 thoughts liaoz..) thoughts of goin back to help them and play..
Anyw read Liangyou's Post on July02 abt the alumni prac. Shrugs (aiyah i lazy to type..since u did liaoz might as well use urs :Pp).

Yesterday went back to spband for its freshman orientation camp. Reach ard 530pm to find them playing some games. Hang ard and tok to all my frenz. Quite many freshies attended the FO camp.
They finished their stuff and went for dinner at 630pm. Us the alumnis, were briefed on wat to do for the Treasure Hunt. I was wif Suean and Jessica. Our Station's at Food Court 1.
Grabbed 3 dinner boxes and we proceeded to our station.
Hmm how does the Treasure hunt works?
Well there will be 6 groups. Each will 1st get a clue to their 1st station. Each station, those groups will need to do some stuff/games to get their next clue to the next stn. Points will be given to the groups according to their performance. The stns will be situated all ard the SP campus (so have to walk here walk there lo).
Thats wat our stn did:
A cheer is needed for the 1st event. Den they will need to form 1 line (boy gal boy gal). They will haf to pass lime using their mouth up to the last person. The last person will haf to eat the lime (super sour..).
Next they will haf to choose 1 guy and 1 gal. 1 will haf to bite onto 1 mentol. The other will haf to spin the mentol 2 rounds using his/her tongue. Super difficult..but can be done (i dunno how though..technique i suppose...).
Last they will need to find their clues in the dark male toliet. Using only a candle. Only 2 persons (1 guy 1 gal).

We hid the clues in mani places. Under the sink, in the toliet roll, up in the airduct and the best, underneath the pants of a pair trousers. The trickest thing is how to deactivate the sensor in the toliet. Well Suean juz turned the sensor facing upwards and its done. So easy (but we dint did that until 2 grps haf pass..><||).

The whole hunt ended at 1230am. The rest of the nite was quite boring (at least for me..i dunno the freshies at all mah). Played late nite soccer beside food court 5. Den I went home at 4am. Haf to walk back to gate 1 coz the rest of the gates are locked alreadi. But den gate 1's locked too..I haf to climb over the gate...(like bugular...). Walked back home. and reached home at 530am. Slp until 12pm today. And I still feel slpy ><||

SPidey Man 2 is superb! Brillant! Marvellous! Best action movie I watched this yr. It was even better den its prequeal. The CG is marvellous. Seeing SpiderMan hopping and dancing ard buildings (using its web) is so exciting. Even bad guy was cool! I juz love the 4 robotic arms. Super powerful. haha I shant say much on the movie. Go watch it, its worth the money.

Back at home at last! Been staying in camp for the pass few days (starting frm Mond.). At last the dreaded SAF Day is over! Been super tiring both physically and mentally..but is over..yes..over..ORD le..:Pp
Saw something beautiful yesterdae during rehearsal in the morning...It was drizzling and I saw the most define rainbow in my life...marvellous..breathtaking..I was in awed..I saw the whole arc of the rainbow at the parade square of SAFTI MI. And its so define..No camera...sad..haiz..
Staff Radin is offically now Master Radin. He got promoted along with Cpt Tng who is now Major Tng(1 crab). There were also a couple of promotion too.
Today's a off day for us..I hope there will be incentive offs too. Afterall we worked so hard for this. Going to rest today.
SAF Central Band will be having its concert(another one..) next Friday, 9th July. They will be conducted by Frank Ticheli (I think is spelled like this..). They will be playing Sym. No. 2, Blue Shades, Loch Lamond, etc.(all composed by him). The concert will be held at Singapore Conference Hall at 1930hrs. The best thing is..the concert is FREE. But..the reserving of tickets has been stopped..the response was overwhelming. Those who are interested and have not reserve a tickets can go down on that day itself (half an hr earli pls). I am sure you will be able to get a ticket. Or 2. Or 3..Coz there are some ppl who will not turn up (cos is free..).
